Phillip Morris sponsored I Love Lucy which scored them a pitch from Lucille Ball herself — “Don’t say cigarette! Say Phillip Morris!” Legend has it (read: Wikipedia) that Lucy put Chesterfields in Phillip Morris boxes during filming, so she could smoke her favorite brand without upsetting the sponsors.
