I was turned on to antique razors last winter, and haven’t looked back since. However, I’m currently the aspiring owner of a definite beard, (seen here attached to Sean Connery’s face), so my razor hasn’t received much attention lately.

As I will be studying in Paris next winter quarter, I’ve recently developed an obsession with the ideals of the expatriate movement – so, here are some photos of Americans in the City of Lights. In the coming weeks I will continue to satiate my obsession with tidbits regarding the somewhat strained yet decidely dynamic relationship between America and France.

I can’t take a breath these days without being reminded of the reintroduction of the classic L.L.Bean Norwegian Sweater; so this post is inevitably redundant. Nonetheless, I for one, cannot wait to get my paws on one of these… or five.
